At Maidstone YMCA, our gym team is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals – whether you want to build muscle, manage your weight, train for an event or sport, get into shape for a special occasion or just feel better in yourself!

As well offering all members a free exercise programme upon signing up, some of our instructors also offer one-to-one personal training, enabling our members to take a direct and more efficient route to reaching their goals. Our personal trainers are trained to the highest standard and are all qualified to level 3 or above. They are professionals who specialise in many different areas such as weight management, muscle growth & strength, injury rehabilitation, sports specific exercise, nutrition/diet design and flexibility. Your personal trainer will ensure that you get the very best from each workout and help to make your exercise more varied and enjoyable!

Personal training sessions are purchased and booked directly with the trainer, so please enquire with a member of the team below.

About Nathan

I'm Nathan, I’m the gym manager here at YMCA Maidstone and I’ve been a qualified personal trainer for over a decade now. In that time, I’ve worked with and helped people from all sorts of backgrounds and walks of life to realise their fitness dreams, whatever their personal circumstances or targets have been.

If you're looking to improve your health, lose that extra bit of weight, gain an edge in your sport, sculpt yourself into an aesthetic god or goddess, build up those biceps or anything else in-between, and want to have a good time in the process, then please do get in touch!

About Liam

I’m Liam, one of the qualified gym instructors here, and I am proud to be part of the YMCA Maidstone fitness team! I have a real passion for motivating people in life, both in and outside of the gym, as I love seeing people do well.

Being someone who all throughout my teenage years was always smaller than everyone else, I understand how beneficial the gym can be to people, both mentally and physically and love to help people reach their goals.

CIRCUITS CLASS
I run a circuits class every Sunday morning, from 09:45 until 10:30, and it would be great to see as many of you there as possible.

About Natalie

I have been a qualified gym instructor and personal trainer since 2010, in that time I have worked at various clubs across the UK, taught many classes and helped people from all different backgrounds to achieve their health and fitness goals.

I am a former British Military Fitness instructor, with seven years’ experience of teaching large outdoor classes. I deliver fast results, targeting all areas of fitness helping you to become fitter, faster and stronger.

About Callum

My name is Callum I am one of the gym instructors here at YMCA Maidstone. I am someone who has always loved keeping fit at a young age, through my passion of playing football and painfully supporting Chelsea every weekend.

Having played football for almost a decade, I have since decided to transfer my love of fitness into training and working in the gym, helping not just myself but others transform their bodies as-well.

I hope to move into personal training as I near the future and I am currently studying for my level 4 sport and exercise nutrition.
